A skilled leader with decades of experience in sectors including high-tech, consulting, and financial services, Salena Accardo has been Vice President of Global Services and Delivery with Gartner since 2016. In this role, Salena Accardo oversees business services focused on infrastructure, operations and portfolio management for large public sector entities in the US and Canada while contributing to the growth of global emerging markets.

Ms. Accardo started her career shortly after finishing her studies at Louisiana State University, where she obtained a Bachelor’s in Land and Water Resource Management and a Master’s in Geographic Information Systems. From 1999 to 2007, she served as a Management Consultant for Accenture and RCG Information Technology, where she focused on redesigning the business process' for mergers and acquisitions as well as implementing web portals, and establishing e-commerce business lines.

Among Ms. Accardo’s other noteworthy roles, she served as Director of IT at AIG from 2013 to 2016 and as a Program Manager in charge of enterprise strategic initiatives at BMC Software from 2010 to 2013. She holds professional certifications in organizational change management, project management, Agile, and Scrum.

Salena Accardo is a member of organizations such as the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and TEDxWomen. Furthermore, she supports numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Hope Squad and Girl Scouts of America. Her other interests include personal finance and venture capital investing.
